Merchant visiting your area

Local Nobles/People in Charge:

I am visiting your land and looking to sell my wares. Is there a Forge I can use, while I visit your area?

Also, I am looking for representatives of the following Guilds (Or Guilds that handle their affairs), if they exist:
Smith’s Guild
Miner’s Guild
Jeweler’s Guild
Crafter’s Guild
Merchant’s Guild

I am also a very proficient Healer and am willing to hire my Healing services out. Is there any laws or restrictions set in your land that prohibit the selling of Healing Arts?

Other than being a Healer and Smith, I have many varieties of things to sell. Does your area have an interest in buying Jewelry, Decorative Items and Fine Gems? I have many of these items, but do not want to bring them if there is not a market.

If anyone needs Master Crafted Weapons or Armor, please send your requests prior to my visit, as I need to prepare my supplies.

I am also interested in buying SR Components, preferably in Bulk.

(OOC: I have a large Variety of decorative items, Jewelry and gems, as stated above. These will ALL be sold for IG coin only, no OOG money is required for anything I sell. Just wanted to make that clear.)

Welcome, Master Digger

Master Digger,

I am Cirin Icerider, the Lord Guildmaster of Willowdark. I am the nobleman charged with administration of Guilds, commerce, academia, and similar affairs throughout this realm.

Merchants and healers are most welcome in Willowdark. We look forward to seeing you at the coming gathering in the Town of Elmrisen in November. There are no laws in Willowdark that restrict trade in magical skills or healing, although no healers regularly adventuring in Willowdark that I am aware of sell their services so you may find people surprised to be asked to pay for healing.

There is an expansive Guildhouse in Elmrisen that is available for use to members of the Willowdark Guild of Merchants and Craftsmen. Guild Dues are five silver pieces per day of a gathering in Willowdark that you are attending, thus one gold piece for a typical weekend. If you wish membership in the guild you may speak to myself or the local Guild Steward of the town you are going to be visiting. The position of Guild Steward of Elmrisen is currently vacant, as the former Guild Steward has resigned the position to pursue membership in the Rangers of Willowdark.

As for jewelry and gems and such, merchants are quite welcome and previous merchants that have come to Elmrisen have found brisk business before. For example, our tavernkeep, Madame Zara, is also a renowned seamstress and often sells her wares in the tavern. However, we are not a large town, so while I cannot promise a large market, I do believe there is a market worth bringing wares to.

As to your offer of preparing master crafted arms and armor, I will review my own arsenal to see how you can be of service, and I believe some other residents of Willowdark may be in the market for such fine wares.

Guild Master Cirin,

Thanks for the information. I don't charge for healing, in general. I charge for the use of my person as a support in battle. This includes healing, but is not limited to such. I am also a Master Smith and refit armor flawlessly and on the fly. Sometimes, if the market and laws allow, I offer my abilities to a person for a certain period of time. Usually I charge a one time fee, before the time starts. Some frown on this activity, but I can assure you that it is worth it. I am very proficient in many skills.

As for selling wares, I will be arriving late Friday evening, but will setup shop Saturday Morning. Is there a specific location I should set up? I would prefer it be a safer area, as some of my wares are fragile.

Master Digger,

If you are looking for a reasonably safe place to set up shop, I'd suggest in the common room of the Bloody Bones Tavern. It is the large building in the middle of town, and there is a large sign that says "Bloody Bones Tavern" in front, so it is hard to miss.

I have spoken with Madame Zara, the tavernkeep of the Bloody Bones Tavern, over letting you have some space to sell your wares, and you are most welcome to set up some space in the tavern.

If you wish membership in the Willowdark Guild of Merchants and Craftsmen so that you may have access to guild facilities including the forge, Guildmistress Aislin or myself can grant that. If you would speak with one of us upon your arrival to town we can make such arrangements.
