The bandits of Lycor? What about Lycor himself. I am the greatest threat to you that is within these tainted lands! Even more so than the twisted "red eyes" that everyone is so afraid of. Make no mistake, I take this as a personal insult...

Just so you can note this whoever you are.
"Greatest Threats" typically sign there name at the end of messages.

Just throwing that out there.

If you would have actually read my message, it states "What about Lycor himself?" This is followed by "I" referencing Lycor, hence myself "Lycor" is the greatest threat. This has been proven and shall be again. Those who have encountered me should advise naive adventures not to pick fights with heroes such as myself. Cirin, I am sure you can back up my claim.

Ok so I missed that.
Wait, now your a hero?
Before you where just saying you where evil.

Confusing notion.

You are confusing "greatest threat" with being evil. This may come as a surprise but not all powerful, handsome, bandit leaders are evil just because they have the power to destroy towns such as Elmrisen. Even those associated with order and the code of chivalry could be a threat. So once again I feel insulted.

So as not to be confusing,

In regards to threats one can encounter in Willowdark, the warlords Lycor, Tetherin, and Lannessa merit mention as well.

Lycor could easily be described as the "Most Wanted Criminal in the Country", he is wanted for violations of virtually every criminal law we have in his years-long crime spree. He has a bounty of 200 Gold Pieces on his head, and as his Wanted Poster describes, he is "Heavy Armed and Extremely Dangerous", his ability to shadow-walk is just one aspect of the danger he presents. He lead a treasonous war against the Crown from December of 604 until the defeat of his armies in May 607. He now survives as the leader of a bandit group. By direct order of The Crown, the people of Willowdark are not to parley with Lycor, as negotiation and parley with Lycor shall be interpreted as Treason.

In one notorious incident, he was so offended by how short his list of crimes was on his wanted poster (Assault, Conspiracy Murder, Arson, Theft, Treason) that he committed a litany of crimes in front of witnesses including Necromancy, Mockery of a Noble to ensure he had violated virtually every criminal law we have.

Tetherin was formerly a mighty warrior who also lead armies against the Crown, from December of 604 until his death in April 609 when he was slain by Lannessa and animated as a mighty undead. Lannessa also overtook Tetherins armies, turning the Willowdark Civil War into a two-sided conflict of forces loyal to our nation and Lannessa and her minions. Tetherin was a lycanthrope of singular and paragon strength, and the large numbers of lycanthropes in Willowdark are directly attributable to Tetherin.

Lannessa is a mighty necromancer, that also participated in the rebellion against The Crown. Rumors abound that she is a vampire or lich, but these are not proven. Her necromantic powers have raised a vast army of undead that threatens the entire nation. In single combat, she could challenge a small army on her own. Her capacity with what is commonly called "Dragon Magic" is well known, and she is able to Destroy Magic and Obliterate with ease even on the battlefield.

I have enough silver from my mines to outfit an army with Silver Weapons, as well as the ability to strengthen or render those weapons. However, it looks as if unforeseen circumstances will keep me from this gather.

For that, I greatly apologize.

From were I stand, you seem to be evil. I suppose it is relevant and therefore we should just consider ourselves a nemesis to one another. This is apparently what Cirin has done. He has taken it upon himself to slander my name. So sleep well all and I shall see you soon.

Yet to commit arson,

And that would be your view point.
Nice to try to be smooth though.
I'll give you points for that.

I really hope I can make it now.
I'm kinda curios as to just how "terrifying" you really are.

To All:

My business will allow me to make your Market Gather. If you need any Weapons, Armo or other smithing products, send me a message. I am planning on ariving early enough to utilize the Forge in the area.

I can make many Silver weapons, as well as Strengthening or Rendering them. I can also create Strengthen Tome to be made into Cantrip Tomes. Send me a message, if you desire such items.

I shall be coming to your lands also. Most just simply call me Doc. I am a Doctor not a magical healer but one that practices mundane and alchemical healing. I do ask if I will need to pay any dues to guilds to be able to pratice my craft. Also are there any libraries that I might attend?

Sincerly

Goodman "Doc",

The Willowdark Academy is the foremost center of learning in our nation. Its libraries contain scrolls copied from a number of archives and colleges throughout the continent, as well as volumes of our own research. We teach alchemy, magic, smithing, and most honorable trades. The study of nonmagical healing is also practiced there. The campus is located at the crossroads in north-central Willowdark where the roads from Elmrisen and Blackbeach, and Wayside Lodge and Hangman's Pass meet. When I am not attending a gathering or otherwise on official business, I can be found at my offices there.

The Willowdark Guild of Merchants and Craftsmen is the local guild that governs the practice of alchemical arts in our nation. While you require no license to legally practice your craft, if you seek membership in the guild the dues are one gold piece per day of the gathering. The most immediate benefit of these dues is access to the guild alchemical workshops we have, although membership in the guilds also entails access to the libraries and instruction offered at the Academy. If you are seeking membership, you can find myself or Guildmistress Aislin Kakarachka in town.

Sincerely,

Lord Cirin Icerider
