Good Folk of Willowdark,

The Willowdark Civil War has dragged on for years now, and stands at a near total stalemate. As of December 28, 611 the battle lines south of Elmrisen have not meaningfully budged in over a year.

Despite major victories and developments in November 610, we have been unable to decisively turn the tide of battle and march on Oblitris and end this destructive conflict.

However, in this year we have managed to achieve two major accomplishments.

In May of this year, emissaries from Willowdark have managed to establish trade relations with Naringal, opening up new lines of travel and commerce along our northeastern border. We now regularly import rare very-high-quality hardwood lumber and a number of valuable and exotic herbs from our neighbors to the east.

In December of this year, other emissaries from Willowdark have opened up robust new trade routes between Willowdark and our ally in the Concordance of Avalon of the Kingdom of Solus. Trade caravans carrying precision milled machine parts, medicines, and useful texts are now arriving from the north.

In the coming year we look to be able to rally our forces to finally achieve a decisive victory in our long war and bring peace and prosperity to our war-torn land.

In service to The Crown I remain,
