Apologies for not being there

My apologies for not being able to be at the upcoming event, or at the last event.

Between my job at the Kentucky State Police requiring me to work weekends, and my National Guard duties, it's a lot harder for me to be free on weekends than it was several years ago. Such is having a career, I guess.

While I can't be at events as often anymore as Lord Cirin, I'm still out here and very much trying to be a part of the plotline as I can be. I'm certainly open to any in-game messages or communications. I didn't spend 15+ years playing him and 6+ years on staff with this chapter to give up just when the going got tough!

I hope y'all have fun at the event. Wish I could be there.

Thanks everyone,

Joseph.

I understand how tough it can be to schedule around events. Grad school kept me from the last one, and I imagine whatever career I get after this May will probably keep me away from more than one in the future. I can say that for myself, it won't be the same sort of event without Cirin there. Cheers!

I certainly hear you with Grad School, I started on my M.A. in History this semester on top of everything else. Good news is the government is paying for it all as military educational benefits, and inside of two years I'll have a Master's free and clear, and have all my student loans paid off. Bad news is that's a full time graduate courseload on top of my military and police careers, and my family.

Well, Cirin's still out there, and he's still trying to stay involved, even if he can't show up during gatherings. He's not a man for politics, he's a scholar and a sage.

The way I figure it, he's probably at his tower on the Demiplane of Magic doing research, and planar conditions make rifting to and from questionable at the most inconvenient times.
